Committee members are appointed by the County Chair. There are a few things to consider before applying to join a committee

Willingness to put in the time needed
Committees are not a now-and-then volunteer position. Yes it is volunteer, just like the Executive Team. However, these committee appointments are reserved for those that can be counted on to be out there and getting the job done, including recruiting of volunteers to support their committee.

Knowledge and Experience
The leaders of these committees must have the knowledge and experience to lead these initiatives. The ones with the best of these will be appointed. You will need to commit to our values of treating everyone without bias, as well as keeping in accordance with growing the Republican Party and minimizing any infighting in your committee.
